not all gold sellers are in sweat shops, in a 3rd world country.
So 100 amulets for 20 bucks, assuming the price somehow stays at 10k.

Assuming what, 10 minutes for an amulet? Including deleting, creating, teleporting, then mission.

Thats 1000 minutes for 100 Amulets. Or roughly 16-17 hours. Assuming that you don't have to sell the Amulets, that is a massive $1.25 an hour. However, how long is it going to take to sell 100 Amulets? Weeks? Month? We are talking cents for the hour. That is going to fill up your paypal account?

Bots can farm the gold.

Bots will have a really hard time doing your amulet trick.

That means you have to sit there and do it. You could be a paper boy and make more money than selling the money from the amulet trick.

i don't think hurts guild wars too much

I think it shows how much people want to not bother going through the tedious motions of the same stuff over and over again

OPEN THE GATES IN FACTIOS AND NIGHTFALL - let people RUN FREE!!!!!!!!!!

Runs are fun, same thing as this actually just takes longer

you do realize that this isn't about botting...don't you?

a bot isn't needed to use this exploit. please get that out of your head.
not all farmers are bots either.

with 10 people exploiting. 5 selling the wares...I believe that you can make quite a killing here..before it's 'fixed'. not to count the gold made from what some call 'running' lol.

-nice way for a guild to make some plat.

If only real life were like this, we work constantly sometimes doing things we don't enjoy but if we got the rewards right away everyone would probably stop working and everyone racing around with their lives would probably come to a halt as they figure how much time they've been wasting doing all the unimportant things...

so let me get this straight
a pve glitch for pve players, and pve players are complaining?

you accept ferrys to different continents, accept runs and ferrys to get max armor at low lvls, but wait, you wont accept a ferry for anyone to go to anytown?

sorry, but either be ok with ferrys and runs or disable them all. none of you little kiddies are going to stand on your soap box and preach how wrong this is when you probably got ran, or ran someone in the last two years. this is just evolution of running.

Well i dont think its gonna stay for long as anet have already had a go at fixing it, i used it earlier to skip the eye-bleeding factions skill capping grind (factions pve) for my new necro.

People should stop crying about it, its not making anyone rich quick, all the fools that are grind farming amulets are wasting their time as someone already pointed out (although $1.50~ per hour might be a good rate for some people), the only semi useful greens are from GWEN and you cant use the bug for those.

Running is different. Running requires skill (on the runner's part that is). And for the record, I don't agree with ferrying. That's an exploit that should be fixed too.

People can do it in their sleep tho after awhile (The runs)...it doesn't take much skill

its exactly the same thing as getting runs from people just hyperspeed star trek technology

as I said before...they are actually saving time.

and this is for the record...there are prolly a few hundred thousand who don't come to guru...go to high-end/sell forums, don't farm..etc..etc.. those end-game greens are prolly the best weaps some can/will get. and to them...they are worth however long it took them to beat the campaign. and now it can be done in what...like 15 min? lol

How does using it just to get amulets help save time?
The greens from the end of factions are worse than collectors items, you can farm cash elsewhere and make more than the 20k gold per hr that amulet selling will net you.

click..click.. click..bang

endgame.

re-roll character. repeat.

you can have every endgame weap that can be had(via exploit) in what...a day at best?

I don't see how it isn't saving time lol. I know it would take me at least 4 days to get a few characters thru all the areas in order to get endgame junk.

but warping right there doesn't save time lol. playing thru does I suppose.
re-rolling and getting a few weaps/books....doesn't net gold either.

These types of exploits kill the already weakened community which in turn is killing GW.

I don't see how this is killing the community any further as the people who'd actually abuse this were ALREADY killing the community with their general presence.
